The College of Nursing established a Rural Health Centre at Vattamalaipalayam in the year 1990, situated 15 kms away from the college. It serves with a motto to provide essential health services free of cost to hamlets in and around Vattamalaipalayam. In the initial stages, only out - patient services were provided and further nourished to provide inpatients services, and to conduct deliveries from 1993 onwards.
